Junior Specialist, Budgeting & Management Reporting Division

We are seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Specialist to join the Budgeting & Management Reporting Division of Birmarket. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, performance analysis, and shareholder communication within a fast-growing e-commerce marketplace.

The Junior Analyst will contribute to preparing materials for shareholders, handling day-to-day requests from management and investors, and assessing the performance of business functions and initiatives against key KPIs. This position is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in finance, analytics, and business performance management in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare regular and ad hoc materials and presentations for shareholders, including monthly / quarterly performance updates;
• Support day-to-day requests from shareholders and management related to business performance and financial metrics;
• Conduct analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) across different business functions, categories, and initiatives;
• Track and monitor business performance vs. budget, forecasts, and operational targets;
• Assist in building and maintaining performance dashboards and financial models;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commerce, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Logistics, Product) to collect data and ensure accuracy of reporting;
• Support senior team members in ad hoc projects and deep-dives into specific business areas (e.g., Buyer Retention, E2E conversion, ROI of marketing campaigns, logistics performance).

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field;
• 0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, auditing, or a related analytical role (internship experience accepted);
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• Advanced Excel / PPT skills; experience with financial reporting tools is a plus;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Basic understanding of financial statements and key performance metrics in e-commerce or marketplaces is an advantage;
• Ability to work with large datasets and present insights clearly;
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment;
• Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or higher); Russian is a plus.
