  • Support the execution of IDDA’s international cooperation strategy and partnership frameworks;
  • Assist in organizing and following up on meetings with international organizations, embassies, donors, and foreign innovation agencies
  • Prepare briefing materials, concept notes, MoU drafts, and reports related to ongoing and planned partnerships;
  • Maintain and update the division’s database of international partners, programs, and funding opportunities;
  • Monitor international calls for proposals, grants, and relevant regional cooperation initiatives;
  • Support the planning and implementation of joint events, delegation visits, and cross-border projects;
  • Collaborate with internal departments (technical, communications, legal) to ensure smooth implementation of international initiatives
  • Draft correspondence and assist with translation and documentation as needed (English/Azerbaijani);
  • Establish and manage business relationships with international partners and organizations;
  • Coordinate and implement international cooperation projects and initiatives;
  • Conduct written correspondence and participate in negotiations with foreign entities;
  • Organize international visits, official meetings, and events;
  • Facilitate and maintain communication with international institutions and government agencies;
  • Draft and oversee the execution of international agreements and contracts;
  • Monitor global developments relevant to the organization’s international strategy;
  • Prepare analytical reports, proposals, and strategic recommendations for management.

Responsibilities

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in in International Relations, Political Science, Economics, or a related field;
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in international relations, development cooperation, or partnership management;
  • Experience working in or with government institutions, international organizations, or donor-funded projects is an asset;
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken); knowledge of Russian is an asset;
  • Strong organizational and coordination abilities;
  • Proficiency in preparing professional reports, memos, and presentations;
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and multitask across multiple projects;
  • Team player with high attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
