Middle QA Engineer

Middle QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of mobile and backend systems through manual and automated testing activities. The role involves creating test scenarios, executing functional and regression testing, identifying defects, and contributing to the improvement of QA processes.

The engineer will work closely with developers, product owners, DevOps engineers, and other QA team members to validate requirements, identify risks, and maintain quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

A strong focus will be placed on mobile application testing for Android and iOS, API validation, integration testing, and test automation. The candidate is expected to work independently on assigned features, contribute to automation coverage, and actively participate in release testing activities.

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile applications and backend systems
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing
• Test Android and iOS applications using real devices and emulators
• Validate REST APIs, request and response structures, status codes, and business logic
• Analyze requirements and prepare clear test scenarios, test cases, and checklists
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
• Contribute to UI and API test automation frameworks
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results
• Support the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in release validation and production smoke testing
• Use AI-powered tools to support test generation, debugging, analysis, and documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA standards and workflows
• Support junior QA engineers and share technical knowledge within the team
• Assist with performance and load testing activities when required

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in QA Engineering
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
• Experience in mobile application testing for Android and iOS
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing
• Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Understanding of REST, JSON, HTTP methods, headers, status codes, and authentication mechanisms
• Practical experience with test automation tools such as Appium, Playwright, WebdriverIO, Selenium, or similar
• Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, Confluence, or similar tools
• Familiarity with Git and basic version control workflows
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Experience with real-device testing and mobile emulators
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify potential risks and edge cases
• Knowledge of AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team
