Surveyor

• Perform site surveying activities including setting out, leveling, alignment, and measurements as per approved drawings.
• Assist the Chief Surveyor in establishing control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
• Conduct topographic surveys, as-built surveys, and quantity measurements when required.
• Verify site conditions against design drawings and report discrepancies to the Chief Surveyor or Engineer.
• Ensure survey instruments (total station, level, GPS) are properly used, maintained, and calibrated.
• Record and maintain accurate survey data, field notes, and reports.
• Support construction teams by providing survey data and layout information.
• Assist in checking completed works for dimensional accuracy and compliance.
• Follow project quality, safety, and environmental procedures during surveying activities.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth execution of works.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geodesy, Cartography or a related field

Specific areas of expertise:

Construction surveying works, setting out and leveling, geometric control, as-built measurements, coordination with site engineers.

Work experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in surveying works within construction projects.

Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):

Proficient in AutoCAD, surveying softwares

Fluent in Azerbaijani; intermediate and above English is required
