Description

  • Assist to prepare comprehensive Group Financial Reports, not only presenting numbers but also explaining the underlying reasons for significant increases or decreases in each line item, identify root causes and provide actionable insights for management.
  • Design professional templates for all Budget Holders and ensure every General Ledger (GL) item is accurately forecasted.
  • Perform variance analysis before reporting deadlines, communicate deviations to Budget Holders, collect formal justifications, and document them for permanent records.
  • Evaluate the current Standard Control Mechanisms, identify gaps, and design/implement improved controls to strengthen financial integrity.
  • Act as a final checkpoint for Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO), auditing against budget limits and business necessity before approval.
  • Conduct periodic site visits to the Factory, Leaf growing areas, and other regional branches to ensure system data matches physical reality.
  • Create complex, one-off reports to support management decision-making.
  • Provide analytical insights to support strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure all financial data, reports, and forecasts are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Follow internal control procedures, corporate policies, and compliance requirements consistently.
  • Work closely with other finance team members, department heads, and stakeholders to provide guidance and clarify financial information.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting templates, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for audits, management reviews, and regulatory requirements.
  • For Junior Financial Specialists, provide guidance and support to help them develop in their roles. For Financial Specialists, lead, review, and mentor junior team members.
  • Respond to management requests, including analyses, modeling, or special projects beyond standard reporting.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations, best practices, and tools to continuously improve performance.


Requirements

Financial Specialist

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, reporting, or corporate finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills.


Junior Financial Specialist

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or controlling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SAP or financial systems is an advantage.
  • Strong willingness to learn, detail-oriented, and team-player attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
