Document Controller

As part of our strategic expansion in Azerbaijan, we are seeking a Document Controller to manage, maintain, and ensure the proper handling of project and company documentation. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of documents in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·      Establish and maintain document control procedure in accordance with project requirements and internal guidelines;

·      Receive, review, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents;

·      Maintain up-to-date records of all drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence;

·      Ensure proper version control and adherence to document naming conventions;

·      Collaborate with project teams to manage documentation requirements for internal and external stakeholders;

·      Track document review and approval workflows to meet project deadlines;

·      Prepare and issue document status reports for the PMO and management;

·      Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers for timely document submissions;

·      Support consistent documentation standards and compliance across the project.

Qualifications & Experience

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field;

·      3+ years’ experience in document control for large infrastructure, utility, or engineering projects;

·      Strong knowledge of document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, EDMS) and MS Office Suite;

·      Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage high volumes of documents;

·      Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize tasks;

·      Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken); Russian is an advantage;
