Internal Communications Manager is responsible for designing and delivering a purposeful internal communications and employee engagement strategy that actively supports organizational development, corporate culture, and business priorities.

The role operates as a strategic partner to leadership and stakeholders, translating strategy, values, and change into coherent narratives, initiatives, and experiences across the organization.

This position balances analytical rigor and creative excellence, ensuring communications are impactful, consistent, and measurable—while elevating employee experience and reinforcing the company’s culture and values at every touchpoint.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Governance

  • Design and own the internal communications and employee engagement roadmap aligned with organizational development priorities.
  • Establish a clear communication governance model, including principles, tone of voice, messaging hierarchy, and approval flows.
  • Ensure all internal communication touchpoints consistently reflect corporate culture, values, and leadership intent.
  • Act as a thought partner to OD and leadership on culture embedding, change, and transformation initiatives.

2. Employee Engagement & Experience

  • Develop and implement purpose-driven engagement initiatives that enhance employee experience and connection to the organization.
  • Create communication concepts that strengthen belonging, ownership, and accountability—not surface-level engagement.

3. Multi-Channel Communication Framework

  • Design and manage an integrated, multi-channel internal communication ecosystem (e.g., townhalls, leadership messages, campaigns, digital channels, events).
  • Ensure message clarity, consistency, and relevance across group-wide and targeted communications.

4. Corporate Events & Internal Campaigns (End-to-End Ownership)

  • Conceptualize, plan, and deliver strategic corporate events and internal campaigns that support engagement objectives.
  • Own events from concept to execution and evaluation

6. Project & Budget Management

  • Manage multiple communication and engagement projects simultaneously, with prioritization and structure.
  • Plan, monitor, and control the internal communications and events budget

7. Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Define success metrics for internal communication and engagement initiatives.
  • Use data, feedback, and qualitative insights to refine strategies

Execution & Project Management

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple initiatives in parallel.


Experience & Background

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in communications, employee engagement, or corporate communications, ideally in complex or multi-entity organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic communication planning, not only execution.
  • Strong track record of managing corporate events and internal campaigns with clear business or cultural outcomes.
