A strong academic background and a good honours degree in a related subject.
The ability to teach Chemistry at IGCSE, AS, and A Level.
A passion for teaching Chemistry.
The ability to reflect on own teaching practice and adopt strategies based on departmental or senior leadership feedback.

Able to respond flexibly to the demands of working in a school environment.
Committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of children and young people.
Commitment to active participation in the co-curricular programme of the school.

Strong organisational and time management skills.
Well organised, able to approach work methodically, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Competency in the use of ICT for both administrative and teaching purposes.
Effective communication skills.
Good collaborative skills, able to establish positive working relationships quickly with colleagues, students, and parents.
