· To function as the Business Manager and a Marketing Specialist for the Food & Beverage Department, to ensure the outlet, retail and banquets operate successfully and are individually profitable in accordance with the standards of the hotel.
· To ensure that the department’s activities are aligned with the respective corporate strategy, and that the hotel actions have been implemented where appropriate.
· To maintain strong, professional relationships with the relevant representatives from competitor hotels and other organizations and conduct regular divisional communication meetings and ensure that departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
· To participate in the formulation of the Annual Operating Budget in determining the division’s expenses, operating equipment and FF&E requirements in line with the compilation of the Annual Business Plan.
· To prepare monthly forecasts and schedule resources accordingly
· Proven experience in Banqueting, Restaurant and Retail Food & Beverage and Hotel Operation.
· Must have the ability to anticipate guest needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask is essential to success in this role.
· Experience in Hospitality and working knowledge of Food & Beverage management systems is required.
· Strong analytical and organizational skills.
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
