- Develop and implement comprehensive technical plans and strategies to support the company’s operations, including those related to crop production, machinery, and equipment.
- Continuously monitor and stay informed about the latest agricultural technologies, techniques, and innovations.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis to evaluate new technologies and methods.
- Identify and recommend solutions that enhance productivity, profitability, and sustainability across agricultural operations.
- Supervise daily technical activities, including crop growth, pest and disease control, irrigation management, and soil fertility in the fields;
- Manage all repair and maintenance activities, including electrical systems, center pivot irrigation systems, equipment, vehicles, tractors, and harvesters;
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget by estimating costs, forecasting future expenditures, and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities based on past performance, particularly for spare parts and external service providers;
- Model effective teamwork by collaborating efficiently with other managers across the organization;
- Monitor the team performance management process, including goal setting, task assignment, and performance evaluation.
Tələblər
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;
- Minimum of 5–6 years of relevant professional experience in machinery management, agricultural operations, or a similar field, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role;
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with agricultural machinery and maintenance management;
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, cost forecasting, and managing relationships with external service providers;
- Up-to-date knowledge of modern agricultural technologies, innovative farming practices, and technical solutions that drive operational efficiency, productivity, and sustainability;
- Proven leadership, communication, and team management skills, with the ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data, assess risks, and implement effective solutions;
- Excellent organizational and planning abilities, with a focus on operational excellence;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English is required; proficiency in Russian is desirable.
