IT Support Specialist (Remote)

We are looking for a talented IT Support Specialist to join our Technical Support Team at Birmarket, the largest online marketplace in Azerbaijan. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability of our systems and services, providing operational support, and resolving incidents in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your analytical skills and technical expertise will help maintain seamless operations and contribute to the company’s continued growth and leadership in e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance and availability of systems and services;
• Respond promptly to incidents and requests from logistics staff, warehouse operators, and other stakeholders;
• Track, manage, and resolve incidents in line with escalation plans;
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution of issues;
• Support process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in a support, operations, or related role (logistics experience is a strong plus);
• Confident knowledge of REST API;
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data verification;
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills;
• Stress resilience and high result orientation;
• Willingness to work in a 12-hour shift schedule (24/7 support).

Hiring Process:

1. Pre-interview — 30 minutes with developers (experience + cultural fit);
2. Technical interview — 1 hour (test tasks and case studies);
3. Final interview with the Team Lead.
