SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER

What You Will Do

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be the backbone of our deployment and infrastructure strategy. You will design, implement, and maintain high-availability environments that host our AI-driven software solutions.

•       Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize our hypervisor environments utilizing VMware vSphere/ESXi and Proxmox.

•       Kubernetes & Orchestration: Manage, scale, and secure production Kubernetes (k8s) clusters. Package, deploy, and manage applications using Helm.

•       CI/CD & Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to enable seamless code-to-production workflows.

•       Configuration Management: Write clean, modular Ansible playbooks for system provisioning, configuration, and infrastructure management.

•       Observability & Monitoring: Maintain full visibility over our platforms using Prometheus (metrics, alerting) and Loki (log aggregation). Build actionable dashboards and set up intelligent alerting.

•       Security & Reliability: Implement security best practices across Linux OS, networks, and container environments. Ensure high availability and zero-downtime deployments.

•       Mentorship & Architecture: Help architect future infrastructure changes, establish DevOps best practices across our 70+ tech team, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.

What We Are Looking For

Must-Have Technical Skills

•       5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Architecture role.

•       Virtualization: Deep experience administering VMware vSphere / ESXi and/or Proxmox VE environments.

•       Containerization & Kubernetes: Strong production experience with Kubernetes administration and writing/maintaining Helm charts.

•       Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Proficient in Ansible for automated system management and configuration.

•       CI/CD: Advanced knowledge of GitLab CI/CD (pipeline optimization, runners management, complex build flows).

•       Observability: Solid experience setting up and managing Prometheus (PromQL, Alertmanager) and Loki.

•       Operating Systems & Networking: Advanced Linux administration (Ubuntu/RHEL) and strong networking fundamentals (VLANs, Firewalls, Load Balancing, DNS).

•       Scripting: Proficiency in Bash and/or Python for task automation.

Soft Skills & Mindset

•       Strong ownership mindset—you take pride in stable, automated systems.

•       Excellent problem-solving skills under high-stress incident situations.

•       Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with software developers and product teams.

Nice-to-Haves

•       Experience managing infrastructure optimized for AI/ML workloads (GPU passthrough/virtualization, high-performance data processing).

•       Certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator).
