- Leadership & Oversight: Lead the finance team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Tax & Statutory Compliance: Oversee all tax filings and statutory obligations, liaising with external auditors, regulators, and government authorities to ensure full compliance.
- Management Reporting: Direct preparation and analysis of monthly management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), highlighting key variances, trends, and actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Strategic Financial Analysis: Conduct advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis to support executive decision-making and long-term business strategy.
- Accounting & Controls: Ensure accurate and compliant accounting records in line with IFRS and internal policies; strengthen internal control frameworks and risk management practices.
- Vendor & Payment Oversight: Review and authorize vendor payments, ensuring adherence to 3-way match principles and robust financial controls.
- Closing Processes: Manage month-end and year-end closing cycles, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are precise.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with operations, HR, and commercial teams, providing senior-level financial guidance to support organizational objectives.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, digitalization initiatives, and efficiency enhancements.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of changes in tax, accounting, and financial regulations, advising management and implementing proactive adjustments.
Tələblər
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Certification: Mandatory ACCA or CIMA qualification (fully qualified).
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role. Background in Big Four or top-tier audit/consulting firms is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Languages: Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken); Russian proficiency is an asset.
