Key Responsibilities
- Communications Readiness and Governance - Ensure telecom infrastructure is ready before deployment. Verify network coverage using operator heatmaps and field surveys, and confirm proper use of radio bands (3/8/20) and device/network configurations
- Telco Operator Coordination and Relationship Management - Act as the main contact for telecom operators and connectivity partners. Coordinate daily activities such as provisioning, activation, fault management, service reviews, and planned network changes
- SIM/eSIM Lifecycle Management- Manage SIM provisioning, allocation, activation, suspension, swaps, and deactivation. Maintain control of SIM inventory and ensure traceability from SIM to device and customer/site
- Connectivity Monitoring and Service Performance (KPIs/SLAs)- Define, track, and report connectivity SLAs and KPIs, including RSSI/RSRP/RSRQ/SINR, attach and session success rate, retry rate, latency, message delivery success, and network availability. Identify trends, drive improvement actions, and maintain service performance dashboards.
- Device Identification and Certification Control- Validate mapping and integrity of Serial Numbers, IMEI, ICCID, and Device IDs across systems. Manage IMEI registration, operator onboarding, and any required telecom certification/compliance processes.
- Cellular and LoRaWAN Rollout Support- Plan and coordinate telecom readiness for lab tests, pilot zones, and mass deployment waves. Support field connectivity testing, device commissioning validation, and acceptance criteria verification
- Incident Management, Problem Resolution and Technical Escalation- Lead investigation and resolution of connectivity incidents. Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate escalation with telecom operators, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- Backend Integration Coordination- Ensure effective handover and integration with the solution Headend and validate end-to-end synchronization between the connectivity layer and backend systems, including data flow integrity and device status consistency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related IT/engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3+ years proven experience working with Mobile Network Operators/ISPs - Internet Service Providers and connectivity partners, including incident management, escalation, and service performance reviews
- Strong working knowledge of 2G 4G/LTE fundamentals (radio bands, coverage/capacity considerations, attach/session behaviour), with a solid understanding of LoRa /LoraWAN architecture and operations
- Ability to define and track operational KPIs/SLAs, produce clear reports, and drive actions to improve service stability and performance
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and English, Russian is preferred
