Risk Management İnternship Program (Paid)

We’re looking for motivated recent graduates and master students to join our paid Risk Management Internship Program (Paid)! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in risk assessment, internal controls, compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) practices within a dynamic microfinance environment. As a Risk Management Intern, you’ll support the Risk Department in identifying, analyzing, and helping to mitigate operational and compliance risks. You’ll participate in internal inspections, financial investigations, assist with report preparation, and contribute to ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

 Essential duties:

• Assist with data collection and analysis for internal control inspections;
• Support in monitoring and evaluating AML procedures and customer due diligence (CDD) processes;
• Assist in the preparation of risk, compliance and internal control reports;
• Support with incident tracking and reporting;
• Participate in updating and maintaining risk registers and internal control checklists;
• Conduct basic risk assessments under supervision and assist in policy reviews;
• Help maintain organized records and documentation related to inspections and compliance checks;
• Other team-based and ad-hoc support

Qualifications:



• Master student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or related fields;
• Previous internship or coursework related to financial services is a plus
• Familiarity with basic risk management and AML concepts is an advantage;
• İnterest in risk, compliance, internal control, and financial services sector.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani (verbal and written);
• Working proficiency in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and presentations.
