DevOps / MLOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Middle DevOps Engineer with MLOps capabilities to join our dynamic team.

This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, ML platforms, and AI-powered DevOps tools to ensure seamless and efficient software and model delivery.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for both software applications and machine learning models.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and ML engineers, to automate processes, improve system reliability, manage the ML model lifecycle, and enhance our development lifecycle. Your expertise in Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, MLOps principles, and AI-powered DevOps tools will be crucial in achieving these goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability, including considerations for ML workloads (e.g., GPU management).

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for applications and ML models.

Integrate AI-powered DevOps tools and MLOps platforms to optimize and automate various aspects of the development lifecycle, including model training, versioning, and deployment.

Implement and manage infrastructure supporting ML model training, experimentation, and serving.

Develop and maintain systems for ML model versioning, monitoring (performance drift, data drift), and lifecycle management.

Collaborate with development and data science/ML teams to identify and implement best practices for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and reliable ML deployment.

Manage and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and MLOps.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with a significant portion (at least 1-2 years) focused on MLOps or managing ML infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and experience in managing Kubernetes clusters.

Proficient in using GitLab CI/CD for building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with AI-powered DevOps tools and their applications in the development lifecycle.

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Kubernetes and Cloud technologies.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.

Experience with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, Argo Workflows, Airflow for ML pipelines).

Experience building and managing pipelines for ML model training, validation, and deployment.

Understanding of the machine learning lifecycle and common ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
