Product Owner

We are looking for an analytical, proactive, and outcome-oriented Product Owner to join our Product Development team.

This role is designed for someone who can independently explore user and business needs, turn problems into clear product requirements, and work closely with design, development, QA, and business teams to deliver improvements and measure their impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand user and business problems, challenge assumptions, and propose solutions supported by research and data.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing work based on expected impact, effort, risks, and dependencies.
• Prepare clear user stories, acceptance criteria, user flows, and product requirement documents.
• Work with stakeholders to clarify requests, agree on scope, and communicate priorities and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with design, development, and QA throughout discovery, delivery, and release.
• Coordinate dependencies across teams and communicate progress, risks, and blockers.
• Define success metrics for product changes and evaluate results after release.
• Analyze product performance, user feedback, and customer support insights to identify improvement opportunities.
• Research competitor products and market trends to inform product decisions.
• Use AI tools to support research, analysis, documentation, and process improvement, while validating their outputs.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst, with hands-on involvement in digital product delivery.
• Experience taking a feature from problem definition through development, release, and evaluation.
• Ability to write clear requirements, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to use data to support decisions.
• Ability to prioritize competing requests and explain the reasoning behind decisions.
• Good understanding of software development processes and Agile practices.
• Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, and dependencies between systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to identifying problems and following them through to resolution.
• Practical experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools.
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani.
• English skills sufficient to work with technical documentation and communicate with external partners.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with iGaming, fintech, e-commerce, or other transactional digital platforms.
• Experience working on mobile apps, web platforms, or back-office systems.
• Familiarity with product analytics tools and basic SQL.
• Experience with user interviews, usability testing, or A/B testing.
• Ability to review Figma designs and provide feedback on user flows and usability.
• Experience working with third-party providers and integrations.
