Currently, “FINCA Azerbaijan” Non-Bank Credit Organization is looking for a Senior Reporting Specialist.

Essential duties include the following:


  • Responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial reporting (primarily monthly and annual) according to IFRS and regulatory requirements (CBAR). 
  • Make necessary corrections/adjustments to the financials based on approval of Head of Unit and CFO. 
  • Analyze client's data, review, and prepare analysis as requested with explanations of main trends and recommendations to the management for effective decision making. 
  • Prepare monthly P&L for Call Centers and Branches at the same time Call Center Analysis Dashboard report
  • Liaising with internal and external audits as well as CBAR and HQ as required. 
  • Ensure IFRS 9 data accuracy and timely uploading and proposing necessary IFRS 9 corrections and adjustments into financial statements. 
  • Responsible of other required reports upload to EDW 
  • As a member of Reporting and SW Committee member to attend committee meetings once per week and participate in approval for development of or modification to reports. 
  • Handle requests that directly works HQ IT team and if needs more information providing and explanation of requests. 
  • Assist Head of unit and CFO on managing lender relationship.
  • Calculation and posting of monthly accrual of interest on borrowings and update the lenders schedules on monthly basis reconciled with GLs and financial statements. 
  • Review, timely and accurate calculation of covenants as per debt agreements and update Head of Unit and CFO on status of compliance with covenants. 
  • Assist Head of Unit and CFO to maintain FINCA Azerbaijan Finance Manual and Accounting Manual and prepare updated versions as necessary in collaboration with the department members. 


Tələblər

Experience and education:


  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in and reporting/finance related environment 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field 
  • Professional Finance degree (Qualified/Partly Qualified) ACCA or CFA 
  • Substantial knowledge of IFRS and Local Accounting Standards 
  • Knowledge of SQL is an advantage


Language skills:


Fluent in Azerbaijani, English is required and Russian language preferred. 


Computer skills:


Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Word, Power Point) 



Travel requirements:


Availability to travel abroad 10% of the time
