Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring proper documentation of transactions, and supporting financial reporting and compliance processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Entering purchase agreements into the 1C ERP system and monitoring contract compliance.
• Preparing and overseeing the reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
• Understanding and applying specific accounting policies for different business entities (service, trade, etc.).
• Monitoring cost price calculations, product sales, and service execution in accounting records, making adjustments when necessary.
• Performing month-end closing operations in 1C, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing invoices and processing accounting transactions for the Trendyol project in the 1C ERP system.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Knowledge of tax accounting and regulations.
• Relevant local or international accounting certifications.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Fluency in Azerbaijani; proficiency in English or Russian is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is preferred.
